Are you Willing or are you Willing?

You see, now there’s Willing and there’s Willing ….
While sitting peacefully by myself, some weeks ago, doing my best to “will” in an epiphany for the next phase in my life – I drew a blank. Nothing happened; nothing came. Then I realised that feeling you’re ready for change and being in the flow of change are two different things. The Universe will conspire with you when you truly are ready. It’s all fine and dandy to be ready and “willing” due to changes in your circumstances; work; life etc – but sometimes there’s a disconnect. This may form a misalignment with the full desire of moving forward. Whatever you do, don’t despair! Just keep aligning yourself with your vision; your goals; your dreams, and sooner or later the Universe joins you in achieving that.
You see, I was willing (or so I thought) for epiphanies; for change; for pivoting on my life journey. I was also trying to “will” it in – not naturally, but almost forcefully. And at that time, nothing came. Fast forward one month, while I’m still in the “freedom-zone” post my 2-week Soul Retreat, and whammo – the Universe has shown up strongly with new avenues; new opportunities and ideas for me!
One type of WILLING showed I was eager, or ready to do something – and this was true. I thought I was ready. The other type of WILLING showed that I was trying to force it to happen; to “will” it to eventuate. This is the piece I was out of alignment with. When I was trying to “will” it in, I was doing a few things. Firstly, I was looking “out there” for something. Secondly, I had no idea what I was looking for, but felt I presently “didn’t have it.” I had no control over this …. Or did I?
When we WILL something in, we can often feel it’s hard work. This potentially shows it may not be in alignment with your highest purpose. When things are in alignment, they usually flow fairly easily. Sure, you may put in a bit of work, but not to the extent on WILLING it in, due to feeling you don’t have it, or due to lack.
So, my best advice, when you’re feeling at a pivotal point in life is:
· To put what you desire out there. Feel it through to your core. Ensure your words; actions and beliefs match your desires, and then – let it go! Let it be and Let God/Universe/Source.
· Don’t lose sight of what it is you desire. Recall those feelings your goal/dream/desire gives you, and tap into that emotional side of it frequently. Hold that vibration as much as you can.
· Review your words, thoughts, actions, and behaviours. Do these align with your dreams and goals? If you’re wanting to get a new job but are not applying for any, then you are not supporting that goal. If this is the case, look at why you’re not applying for jobs. Really hone in on what’s going on – what is driving this behaviour that will not assist you?
· And finally, one of the things that I feel made a huge difference for me was establishing what my VALUES are. What are the most important Values in your life, and ARE YOU LIVING UP TO THESE? To get to a point where almost every action, thought, behaviour, and word strongly supports your Values, is when you are in full alignment with your highest purpose. And when you are here ……. Magic happens!
